Stem Remover

This machine performs the main removal of the stems from the raisins. It is consisted of two cone shaped screens in horizontal position. Each screen can be easily opened into two parts in order to be cleaned. Furthermore, inside the screens there is a shaft with knives which is rotated and rub the raisins at the space between knives and screens. With this way, it is succeeded to remove almost completely the stems from the raisins. The remained stems on the raisins can reach very low levels (i.e. up to 0.5%). 

It is completely constructed by stainless steel AISI 304.
